Pleating silk abaca

Hi im really hoping for some adviseI really want to have a go at making a headpiece and pleat silk abaca. Is the silk abaca able to be pleated and hold its shape on its own or do you need to use buckram in this?See More

Hi i have recently purchased some a abaca scrunch material and thinking of blocking it but just not too sure on the best way. Has anyone done this? I was thinking i need to block it dry and apply stiffener???? Or would you use it wet?See More
