                        &lt;p&gt;Thanks Dianne and Greer for your suggestions.  I ordered *Advanced Style* from from Amazon yesterday after, and it arrived today!  I often joke that Amazon delivers items to me before I actually order them.  I really like the idea of style for older ladies.  Too often we cull through the styles of the day and merely choose that which we can get away with.  I especially like the fact that many of these looks were flamboyant without being sexually provocative!&lt;/p&gt;                    </summary>

&lt;p&gt;It&#039;s &#039;Vintage Hats &amp;amp; Bonnets 1770 - 1970 - Identification &amp;amp; Values&#039;, 2nd Ed.  by Susan Langley.  It;s over 400 pages of hats with historical, fashion and hat overview of each decade.  A must for collectors or those who love historical/vintage hats.&lt;/p&gt;
