<p>Hello,</p> <p>My gran used to get rust stains out with a mixture of lemon juice and salt plus bright sunshine.  You might want to rinse that off once the stains are gone - if this method works for you.</p> <p>As for dyeing straw, yes you sure can.  I usually try to do that before I make the hat, and I use Rit or something similar.  One needs to saturate the straw, so you'd wind up having to re-block if the hat is already made.  </p> <p>Hope that helps, but please ask any other…</p>
